The move followed escalating hostilities after a deadly event in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Sources indicate that Pakistan’s Aviation Division is preparing a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to continue the closure beyond the initial May 23 deadline, in line with international aviation rules allowing monthly extensions.
