Pakistan Expected to Celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on May 27

SUPARCO has forecast that Eid-ul-Adha 2026 in Pakistan is likely to be observed on Wednesday, May 27, based on astronomical calculations for the Zilhajj moon sighting.

According to the space agency, the Zilhajj 1447 AH moon is expected to be born on May 17, 2026, at 1:01am PST. The crescent is likely to be visible on the same evening, particularly in coastal regions of the country.

If the moon is sighted as predicted, the first day of Zilhajj will begin on May 18, while Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on May 27 across Pakistan.
