Pakistan earned Rs. 3 billion from hosting the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, according to PCB Chairman’s Advisor, Amir Mir. The tournament, funded entirely by the ICC with a $70 million budget, allocated $10 million to Pakistan.
Dismissing claims from Indian media about financial losses, Mir highlighted the event’s success, crediting PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi for effective management. The revenue underscores Pakistan’s ability to host major international cricket events.
Additionally, the tournament led to significant improvements in cricket infrastructure, with stadium renovations and upgrades to meet international standards. These enhancements will benefit Pakistan cricket long-term, offering better facilities for players and fans.
