New Zealand Defeats Pakistan to Enter Women’s T20 World Cup Semis

New Zealand secured a spot in the Women’s T20 World Cup semi-finals with a 54-run victory over Pakistan, thanks to Amelia Kerr and Eden Carson’s impressive bowling. Carson, named player of the match, took 2-7, while Kerr finished with 3-14, as Pakistan was bowled out for just 56 runs. Chasing 111, Pakistan’s batting faltered, ending their chances to qualify. Captain Fatima Sana acknowledged that while their bowling was strong, Pakistan’s batting and fielding need improvement. Earlier, Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer’s 41-run opening partnership helped New Zealand reach 110-6.
