The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a warning for a potential heatwave in Karachi from today until April 23, with temperatures expected to range between 39°C and 41°C. The intense heat is also likely to affect Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan. Meanwhile, areas in Azad Kashmir, including Muzaffarabad and Athmuqam, have been experiencing rainfall since yesterday. The PMD has advised citizens, particularly children, women, and the elderly, to stay hydrated and avoid direct sun exposure during this period.
