Kuwait has officially resumed issuing multiple visa categories for Pakistani citizens, including work, family visit, dependent, tourist, and business visas. This development, confirmed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, signals a strong improvement in bilateral ties and opens new doors for employment, tourism, and family reunification. Aimed at easing labor shortages, Kuwait is actively seeking skilled workers from Pakistan, especially in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. As part of this collaboration, Pakistan will send 1,200 nurses to Kuwait, with the first batch of 125 expected to arrive soon after resolving initial accommodation delays.
