Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has announced an end to water supply through tankers and hydrants, directing the Water Corporation to ensure direct water delivery to households via pipeline connections, in a move aimed at improving the official distribution system, reducing reliance on costly alternatives, and establishing a fair, transparent, and sustainable water supply for the city despite the loss of significant monthly revenue from hydrants.
