Iran Replaces Air Defence Systems Damaged in Conflict with Israel

Iran has replaced several air defence systems damaged during its 12-day war with Israel in June, confirmed army operations chief Mahmoud Mousavi. The intense conflict saw Israeli strikes targeting Iran’s military and nuclear sites, severely weakening its air defences. In retaliation, Tehran launched waves of drone and missile attacks. The deadly escalation left over 1,000 dead in Iran and at least 28 in Israel. Mousavi said systems like Bavar-373 and Khordad-15 have now been restored or replaced. The U.S. also joined the conflict, launching major airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities on June 22.
