Indian cricket team go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 if government allows it, according to the BCCI

The potential visit of the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for the ICC Champion’s Trophy next year hinges on approval from the Modi government, as stated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Rajeev Shukla, the BCCI vice-president, emphasized that the team’s journey to Pakistan would solely occur upon government endorsement. Shukla underscored the BCCI’s adherence to governmental directives regarding team tours.

Concurrently, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is actively devising security strategies for the Indian team preceding the Champions Trophy scheduled for February next year. The PCB has proposed Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi as prospective venues to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and intends to seek input from participating nations.
