The International Cricket Council (ICC) is pleased with the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) update on preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi assured ICC members that stadium upgrades are on schedule and will be completed in time for the tournament, set for February 19 to March 9, 2025.
Naqvi invited ICC board members to visit Pakistan to inspect the preparations. However, a major concern remains whether the Indian cricket team will participate, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) awaits government clearance.
