Google’s Yossi Matias provided an update on the success of Project Green Light. This initiative is being tested in areas with substantial traffic issues, particularly at busy intersections featuring complex traffic lights where vehicles frequently stop and start. These intersections often lead to traffic congestion and pollution.
Cities like Bangalore, Budapest, Jakarta, Manchester, Haifa, Hamburg, Rio de Janeiro, and Seattle are currently part of the program, working to tackle traffic-related challenges and improve transportation system efficiency.
