The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested journalist Farhan Malick for allegedly violating the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), according to sources. Malick, a former news editor at a private news channel, was reportedly taken into custody after appearing at the FIA office for a hearing, where his mobile phones were also confiscated. A statement on X from Malick’s YouTube channel claimed that FIA officials visited the channel’s office the previous evening without prior notice, allegedly harassing staff and summoning Malick for questioning.
