Exciting News! Pakistani Beef Achieves Breakthrough, Secures Entry into Chinese Market

The General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) has made a momentous declaration, granting Pakistan the official authorization to export heat-treated beef to the Chinese market. This crucial approval, however, comes with specific conditions that necessitate the beef to originate from cattle aged below 30 months and undergo a meticulous heat treatment process. The meat must attain a core temperature of at least 70 degrees Celsius for a minimum of 30 minutes.

To ensure the utmost quality and safety of the exported beef, Pakistani production enterprises must rigorously adhere to stringent health regulations and be subject to official supervision from both nations. These enterprises are required to register with China, and only beef produced after this registration will be permitted for export.

This development holds immense significance for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and signifies the continued growth and collaboration between the two countries. Anticipations are high that a broader range of Pakistani agricultural products will soon find their way into the Chinese market, further bolstering bilateral trade ties.
