Champions Trophy Will Be Held in Pakistan, Our Pride is Priority: PCB Chief

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to hosting the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, despite India’s refusal to participate due to ongoing political tensions.

Naqvi emphasized that sports should remain independent of political interference and urged the ICC to uphold its credibility by ensuring the tournament proceeds as planned in Pakistan.

He also invited India for dialogue, expressing a willingness to address any concerns directly. The Champions Trophy is scheduled to run from February 19 to March 9, 2025, with matches planned in Rawalpindi, Karachi, and Lahore.

The PCB remains firm in its preparations, aiming to deliver a world-class event that showcases Pakistan’s ability to host major international tournaments.
