Bats and kits belonging to foreign players were stolen during the IPL.

During transit from Bengaluru to New Delhi, kit bags belonging to foreign players were stolen. The victims of this theft include prominent cricketers such as David Warner, Phil Salt, Mitchell Marsh, and Yash Dhull. They lost three, three, two, and five bats respectively. The incident has raised concerns about player safety and highlighted the need for better security measures.

In addition to the stolen bats, shoes, gloves, and other essentials were also reported missing, with a total of 16 items being reported as missing. Delhi Capitals’ management is working with authorities to resolve the matter.

This incident underscores the significance of improving security measures at sporting events to ensure the safety of players and their belongings. IPL organizers and team management must take prompt action to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
