Former Bangladesh cricket captain Tamim Iqbal suffered a heart attack during a Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL) match in Savar on Monday. The 35-year-old, leading Mohammedan Sporting Club, experienced chest pain during the first innings and was immediately taken to the hospital. Doctors performed an emergency angioplasty to clear a blockage in his heart artery. Initially treated at KPJ Specialised Hospital, tests confirmed the heart attack. Thankfully, Tamim is now in stable condition and under medical observation.
