Asian Development Bank Urges Pakistan to Adopt India’s Education System

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has advised Pakistan to adopt India’s ULLAS education program to improve its struggling education system. ULLAS promotes lifelong learning and teaches key skills like financial and digital literacy.

Pakistan asked the ADB for help in reducing out-of-school children. The ADB will provide technical assistance, including funding for school meal programs in poor areas and creating a school registry in disaster-prone regions.

This is part of Pakistan’s efforts to boost education access and equip students with essential future skills.
