Alex Hartley, a former England international and a crucial part of the 2017 World Cup-winning team, is set to assume the role of a specialized spin bowling coach for the Pakistan Super League team, Multan Sultans.
This marks a historic moment, as she, alongside former Ireland player Catherine Dalton, will be the first female coaches in the history of the PSL.
At 30 years of age, Alex, who retired from cricket in August, will also maintain her broadcasting role with the BBC’s Test Match Special and continue co-hosting the No Balls Podcast alongside England seam bowler Kate Cross.
