A young man was killed and nine others were injured when a Shehzore truck lost control after a tyre burst and collided with a car in the DHA area on Thursday morning, according to police and rescuers.
DIG-South Syed Asad Raza reported that the accident occurred at a busy intersection in Phase VIII. The driver of the Audi car, identified as Aminuddin, was unharmed.
The truck overturned after hitting the car, injuring ten occupants, including the driver. One of the injured, Aftab Hasan, 20, later died. Police arrived at the scene and transported the injured and deceased to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal procedures.
