Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended an invitation to India for a comprehensive dialogue to resolve key issues, including the Kashmir dispute and water sharing between the two nuclear nations. During his visit to Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot, he praised Pakistan’s armed forces for their strong response under ‘Operation Bunyanum Marsoos’ following Indian strikes after the Pahalgam incident. He highlighted Pakistan’s successful targeting of 26 Indian military sites, including airbases, and the downing of several Rafale jets by the Pakistan Air Force. The prime minister said the action was a clear message and a response to the events of the 1971 war.
