In 2024, the Pakistani Armed Forces carried out 59,775 operations, eliminating 925 terrorists, demonstrating their strong commitment to national security and regional peace.
According to a press release, the security forces achieved significant success against terrorists under a clear national policy. Law enforcement agencies conducted intelligence-based operations, including 169 regular operations, 73 of which targeted highly wanted individuals.
Thanks to effective strategies by state institutions, 14 wanted terrorists surrendered and rejoined society, two suicide bombers were arrested, and a major disaster was averted.
Sources also reported that, under a clear state policy, strict action was taken against smuggling, electricity theft, extortion, and hoarding. These efforts led to successful crackdowns on illegal activities and a noticeable decline in such practices.
