254 international players sign up for PSL 9

The ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is on the horizon, with the recently unveiled roster of overseas players adding to the excitement.

A substantial group of 254 international cricket players is set to participate in the tournament, reflecting a heightened interest from foreign players keen on joining the PSL, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

While the disclosed list surprisingly lacks several prominent Australian players, it remains a diverse assembly of talent hailing from various cricketing nations. Notably, the platinum category includes 20 players, with a noteworthy emphasis on English cricketers, indicating a robust English presence in the upcoming PSL season.

The anticipation is fueled by the commitment of renowned players such as Alex Hales, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, David Wiese, Sikandar Raza, Colin Munro, James Vince, Rassie Van der Dussen, and Hazratullah Zazai, who have already confirmed their participation in the PSL 9 draft. Their inclusion promises a thrilling and competitive lineup for the upcoming season.

For those eagerly awaiting the team compositions, the official draft for PSL 9 is slated to unfold on December 13 in Lahore.
