A 12-year-old girl was found raped and murdered in Karachi’s Saddar area on Sunday, according to police and hospital officials. Police surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed reported that the girl’s body was discovered in a bag and brought to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for examination.
Initial post-mortem findings indicate sexual violence, and samples have been collected for serology, DNA, and intoxication tests. The cause of death will remain undisclosed until the reports are available, Dr. Syed stated.
