The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched the world’s largest cooling system ahead of Hajj 1446 Hijri. With a total capacity of 155,000 tons, the system is designed to ensure comfort for millions of pilgrims during the intense summer heat. Cooling is provided through two main stations—Al-Shamiya Station with 120,000 tons and Ajyad Station with 35,000 tons—covering the entire Grand Mosque complex, including its expanded areas.
