Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah highlighted Karachi’s large funding needs, estimating around Rs1 trillion yearly to improve infrastructure. However, only Rs218 billion is allocated this year due to budget limits. Shah stressed the need for major investments to solve infrastructure issues and raise living standards in Karachi. He shared these points during a meeting with journalists from the National Press Club, who acknowledged the government’s development efforts across Sindh.
