Saudi Arabia will host approximately 3 million pilgrims during Ramadan 2023 for the purpose of performing Umrah.

Muslims from all over the world dream of performing Umrah during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Performing Umrah during Ramadan is highly desirable because the rewards for this act are equivalent to performing the Hajj pilgrimage. It is anticipated that this year, approximately 3 million Umrah pilgrims will visit the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

In preparation for the arrival of these large numbers of pilgrims during Ramadan, the Saudi government has launched a program called “From Arrival to Access.” This program involves a massive operational plan and preparation to ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage experience for all.
