King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the ruler of Saudi Arabia, has made a special gesture towards non-Saudi pilgrims participating in the Hajj. He has ordered the distribution of two million copies of the Holy Quran to be given to the pilgrims upon their return to their respective countries. This significant initiative, announced by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, highlights the importance of sharing the teachings of the Holy Quran with pilgrims from diverse regions around the world.
To ensure maximum accessibility, these copies of the Holy Quran will be distributed at airports, land passages, and seaports in Saudi Arabia. The two million copies are available in 76 different languages, catering to the varied backgrounds of the pilgrims.
Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance, has expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for this valuable gift of the Holy Quran.
