All suspects in the seven-year-old Sarim kidnapping and murder case have been conditionally released. Sarim, a young boy from North Karachi, was found dead in a water tank 11 days after going missing, yet after 50 days, investigators still have no solid leads. According to DIG West, the evidence and circumstances do not match the post-mortem report, which indicates Sarim was killed five days after his abduction. To ensure a thorough investigation, forensic experts will be consulted, and a forensic board has been requested by senior police officials on IG Sindh’s orders. In the meantime, those previously detained have been released but must remain in the city, as stated by Irfan Baloch.
