Reko-Diq Mining Corporation (RDMC) has paid over $28 million to the Balochistan government in royalties, taxes, and community investments, officials revealed during a project update. As of June 2025, payments include $17.5 million in royalties, $3.8 million in taxes, and $7.2 million for community development. RDMC Communications Manager Samia Ali Shah noted that Balochistan holds a 25% share in the project without any direct investment. The project is a 50-50 partnership between the Pakistan government and RDMC. The company also showcased its local workforce training program, featuring trainees who recently returned from 18 months of training in Argentina.
