Punjab’s SSP Riffat Bukhari won the ‘Excellence in Performance Award’ from the International Association of Women Police

Punjab Police officer Riffat Bukhari has earned the Excellence in Performance Award from the International Association of Women Police in recognition of her remarkable contributions.

Deborah Friedl, the association’s president, lauded Bukhari for her outstanding policing capabilities, particularly her initiatives to enhance women’s safety and utilize AI to prevent crime. Bukhari’s leadership in advancing smart traffic management systems also garnered praise.

The award presentation will take place during the 61st annual conference in Chicago, USA, slated for September 2024. Punjab Police Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar applauded Bukhari’s accomplishment, emphasizing its significance for all police officers, especially women.
