In a tragic case of alleged honour killing in Balochistan, a pregnant woman and her husband were murdered by her brothers seven years after their love marriage. The couple, Shoaib Khan and Benazir, were invited to lunch in Quetta’s Hazarganji area, where they were ambushed and killed while staying at a hotel in Mastung’s Lakpass area. Officials say the murders were carried out despite previous reconciliation between the families.
