Petroleum prices have dropped by Rs. 47.54 per litre since May, says the Petroleum Minister

Petroleum Minister Musadik Masood Malik informed the National Assembly on Thursday that fuel prices in Pakistan have dropped by Rs47.54 per litre since May. He mentioned that while fuel is bought at international rates, Pakistan benefits from discounts and delayed payments from friendly countries. Malik also noted that fuel prices in Pakistan depend on global market changes and the exchange rate. He assured that any global price drops are passed on to the public.
