In the first two months of fiscal year 2024-25, Pakistan’s textile exports rose by 5.37% to $2.915 billion, compared to $2.766 billion last year, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. Overall, exports increased by 14.42%, totaling $5.069 billion. Textile exports grew 12.99% in August 2024 from the previous year and 29.36% from July. However, cotton yarn exports dropped by 45.21% year-on-year. Rice exports, on the other hand, surged by 98.58% to $464.667 million, with key export items including knitwear, garments, and rice.
