Pakistan’s meat exports to China reached $2.6 million in seven months

Pakistan’s meat exports to China grew to $2.6 million from January to July 2024, with boiled beef being the top product. This surge highlights the increasing demand for Pakistani meat in China, solidifying Pakistan’s position as a key supplier. Owais Mir, Chairman of the DEA Group, attributes this success to the high quality and competitive pricing of Pakistani meat, supported by strong Pakistan-China economic ties. In the first seven months of 2024, Pakistan exported 540 tons of boiled meat to China, with three companies leading the way. Experts expect this positive trend to continue.
