Pakistan’s Atif Butt Wins CEO 2024 Tekken 8 Tournament in the US

Pakistan’s Atif Butt triumphed at the Tekken 8 tournament during CEO 2024, held in Daytona Beach, Florida, cementing his status as one of the world’s premier Tekken players. Atif delivered an exceptional performance throughout the event, defeating Keisuke 2-0 in the winners’ semi-final and Doujin 3-1 in the winners’ final.

In the grand final, Atif faced Keisuke once more. Despite Keisuke’s comeback by defeating Doujin 3-0 in the losers’ final, Atif maintained his dominance and secured the title with a 3-2 victory.

CEO 2024 is a significant event on the Tekken World Tour, recognized as a Master Event for Tekken 8. Alongside Arslan Ash, another renowned player from Pakistan, Atif is regarded as one of the nation’s best Tekken competitors. He first gained international recognition by winning the Tekken World Tour 2022 Finals.

The tournament showcased intense competition. Atif, playing as Dragunov, clinched the top spot. Keisuke, using Kazuya, secured second place, and Doujin, who played multiple characters including Leo, Claudio, Feng, Lili, Shaheen, Law, Zafina, Leroy, and Lars, finished third. Falcons’ JoKa, playing as Feng, took fourth place. KC’s JDCR, playing as Dragunov, and VARREL’s Ao, playing as Victor and Alisa, tied for fifth place.

Other notable players included NIP’s K-Wiss, who played as Hwoarang, and Bilal, who played as Bryan, rounding out the top positions. This tournament not only reinforced Atif’s dominance in the Tekken scene but also highlighted the depth of talent in the competitive Tekken community.

The high level of skill and competition among the players was evident throughout the event, making it a memorable and exciting tournament.
