Pakistan to Introduce New Rs100, Rs500, Rs1000 and Rs5000 Notes with Advanced Security Features

The federal government has approved the printing of newly redesigned currency notes after receiving formal clearance from the federal cabinet in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Officials said the new designs will be introduced for Rs100, Rs500, Rs1,000, and Rs5,000 banknotes, featuring modern international standards, improved durability, and advanced security threads aimed at reducing counterfeiting and enhancing currency safety.
