Pakistan to Evacuate Diplomats’ Families, Non-Essential Staff from Iran

As tensions between Iran and Israel rise, Pakistan has begun evacuating families of its diplomats and some non-essential staff from its embassy in Iran as a safety measure. The Pakistani Embassy in Tehran and its consulates will remain fully operational. The conflict escalated after Israeli airstrikes killed over 220 people in Iran, including senior military leaders and nuclear scientists. In response, Iran launched hundreds of drones and around 400 missiles at Israel, causing over 20 casualties. The U.S. has urged Iran to accept restrictions on its nuclear program to end the conflict swiftly.
