Pakistan has been ranked as one of the worst performers in terms of internet access, according to a recent report. The report suggests that only 35% of the country’s population has access to the internet, making it one of the lowest rates in the world. The study was conducted by the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI) and revealed that Pakistan is behind several other countries in the region, including India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The report cited high costs and a lack of infrastructure as major reasons for the country’s poor internet access.
