The death toll from ongoing monsoon rains in Pakistan has reached 299, including 140 children, as reported by the NDMA. Since late June, heavy rains and flash floods have caused widespread damage, injuring 715 people and damaging over 1,600 homes. Rescue teams have evacuated 2,880 people, while more than 13,000 relief items have been distributed.
