Pakistan Government Bans IPL Online Streaming

In response to India’s ban on streaming the Pakistan Super League (PSL) following the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Pakistani government has imposed a ban on the online streaming of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on local platforms. Major streaming services, including Tapmad, have already removed IPL matches from their websites. The ban, which took effect on Friday night, is being enforced across all platforms that previously streamed IPL content in Pakistan, in line with the government’s latest directive. This move follows India’s recent censorship of social media accounts belonging to Pakistani sports figures, with no official explanation provided.
