Pakistan and India will play in the T20 World Cup on June 9

The confirmed schedule for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup has been unveiled, featuring a highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India during the initial group stage. Set to take place in the United States and the West Indies from June 4 to 30, the tournament will see 20 teams initially divided into four groups.

In the same group, Pakistan and India will face off along with Ireland, Canada, and the United States. Several matches in this stage, including those involving Pakistan, will be held in the United States.

Pakistan kicks off its campaign against the USA on June 6, followed by the eagerly awaited Pakistan-India encounter in New York on June 9. The match against Canada is scheduled for June 11 in New York, while the clash with Ireland is set to take place in Florida on June 16.

Following this phase, the top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eight round, which is further divided into two groups. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has shared the schedule with cricket boards and broadcasters for feedback and approval, and the final schedule is expected to be released soon.
