Pakistan and Austria agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation during a key meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker in Vienna. PM Shehbaz arrived in Vienna on a two-day official visit, marking the first visit by a Pakistani prime minister to Austria since 1992. The leaders held a restricted meeting at the Federal Chancellery, followed by delegation-level talks aimed at strengthening diplomatic, economic, and political ties between the two countries. The Pakistani delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch. The high-level discussions focused on boosting bilateral relations, trade cooperation, and diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Austria.
