Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd (PSMCL) has recently made an announcement regarding the temporary closure of its automobile and motorcycle manufacturing facility in Pakistan. This decision has been prompted by a shortage of inventory.
According to a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the shutdown will commence on June 22, 2023, and continue until July 08, 2023. Pak Suzuki, recognized as the leading car manufacturer in Pakistan in terms of production and sales, has attributed the inventory shortage to the import restrictions imposed by the government.
These restrictions have impacted the entire automotive sector, leading to a scarcity of available stock, thereby necessitating the temporary closure.
