Over 80 Militants Killed as Pakistan Armed Forces Target 7 Camps on Pakistan-Afghanistan border

Pakistani airstrikes targeted terrorist camps along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing over 80 militants in a retaliatory operation, officials confirmed. The strikes hit seven hideouts of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), referred to by the state as Fitna al Khwarij, and Islamic State-Khorasan Province affiliates, following recent suicide attacks in Pakistan. Security sources reported the operations, carried out in Nangarhar, Paktika, and Khost provinces, successfully destroyed multiple militant centres, with casualties expected to rise as assessments continue, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said.
