Ombudsperson Orders Removal of K-Electric CEO Over Harassment of Female Officer

K-Electric CEO Moonis Alvi has been removed from his position by the provincial ombudsperson for harassing a former chief marketing and communication officer. The ombudsperson found him guilty of creating a hostile work environment and causing mental distress. Alvi has also been fined Rs2.5 million, to be paid within 30 days, or it will be recovered through his assets under the Land Revenue Act, 1967.
