Nida Dar has been appointed as the new captain of the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team.

Pakistan women’s cricket team’s all-rounder Nida Dar has been named the captain following Bisma Maroof’s departure after the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. The PCB has also appointed Mark Coles as the new head coach and Salem Jaffar as the chair of the Women’s Selection Committee. The upcoming international assignments in mind, including hosting South Africa and tours to Bangladesh and New Zealand for the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25 fixtures. The PCB’s decision to invest in women’s cricket is reflected in these appointments to boost the team’s performance and promote gender equality in sports.
