While outlining his party’s policies to a gathering of businessmen, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), asserted that India had attained economic prosperity by adopting policies akin to those of Pakistan.
Addressing the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Nawaz recognized the economic hurdles confronting Pakistan. He provided assurance to the business community that the PML-N would persist in soliciting their guidance, as demonstrated during their prior tenure in governance.
Nawaz contended that the policies formulated by Pakistan were instrumental in fostering economic growth, a model that India also purportedly adopted to achieve its own success.
