MrBeast overtakes India’s T-Series to become the world’s most-subscribed YouTuber

YouTube sensation MrBeast, born James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson, has achieved an incredible milestone by amassing 266 million subscribers. This feat catapults him ahead of the Indian music label T-Series, establishing MrBeast as the most subscribed channel on YouTube.

On June 2, the 26-year-old celebrated this significant achievement on social media. Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, MrBeast remarked, “After 6 years we have finally avenged PewDiePie.” This statement alludes to his successful endeavor in surpassing T-Series, a feat that the Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie previously attempted but fell short of achieving.

MrBeast also addressed the potential repercussions of this milestone. He expressed concerns that his accomplishment might reignite debates between fans from India and America. However, he clarified that his goal was simply to become the most subscribed channel, without intending to foster division between countries. “I just want to be the most subscribed-to channel. Yes, I have a lot of people helping me, but at the end of the day, I started this channel. I live and breathe this. I am a creator,” he emphasized.

This moment signifies a pivotal juncture in MrBeast’s career, underscoring his dedication and the extensive support he receives from his team and fans alike. Renowned for his elaborate and often philanthropic videos, MrBeast has garnered a massive following over the years.

His ascent to the pinnacle of YouTube underscores his creativity, perseverance, and rapport with his audience. While surpassing T-Series represents a monumental achievement, MrBeast remains committed to producing engaging content and expanding his presence on the platform. This milestone not only celebrates his success but also establishes a new benchmark in the realm of YouTube content creation.
