More than one lac Pakistanis visit Karbala, Iraq, to participate in Ashura processions

More than 100,000 Muslims, including Pakistanis and people from various parts of the world, gather in Karbala, Iraq, for Ashura processions honoring the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain during the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD. The Pakistan Ambassador to Iraq, Ahmed Amjad Ali, has set up a special camp office in Karbala to support Pakistani pilgrims with medical assistance, water, refreshments, and document verification. This pilgrimage holds immense significance as a symbol of devotion and remembrance for Muslims worldwide.
