Mohsin Naqvi Carries Out Aerial Survey of Islamabad to Evaluate Current Conditions

As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) intensifies its call for action, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conducted an aerial inspection of Islamabad to assess the ground situation.

Speaking at a press conference in the federal capital, Naqvi clarified that mobile phone services in Islamabad remain active. However, he confirmed that cellular data services were temporarily interrupted due to security concerns.

“Our priority is to minimize inconvenience for Islamabad residents, especially as a foreign delegation is set to arrive soon,” the minister stated.

Addressing the arrest of protesters, Naqvi explained that individuals demonstrating along the planned route for the foreign delegation were detained. He further alleged that demonstrators had resorted to stone-throwing near the path designated for the visiting dignitaries.

The government’s measures highlight a focus on ensuring security and maintaining order during the high-profile visit.
